A few years ago, I was gifted a “Question a Day” journal. The idea is simple: you answer one question every day, and a year later, you return to the same questions. It’s a beautiful way to track how you evolve over time.

While I loved the concept, keeping up with it was a struggle. I traveled a lot, and the book was quite heavy to carry around. I tried searching for a digital alternative, but nothing felt right. I wanted something simple—no forced registrations, no data tracking, and all the essential features available for free. Apparently, that was a big ask, because I couldn’t find a single app that fit.

So, I decided to build one myself. An app I would actually enjoy using every single day.

I spent a long time thinking about the name and landed on Lumindy (Lumen/Light + Mind). It represents that “aha!” moment of insight you get when reflecting on a question.

If you’ve been looking for an app that:

  • Helps you get to know yourself better and track your growth over the years
  • Inspires and motivates you
  • Doesn’t require registration
  • Keeps your data private
  • Allows you to export your answers and move them to another device

Please give it a try! And if you enjoy using it, I’d love it if you could leave a review.

Try it!
